Newly refurbished Underwood freestander sells for $960,000

A NEWLY refurbished freestander in the south-east Brisbane suburb of Underwood has sold for $960,000 at 17 Smallwood Street.

The asset, that came with a 630sq m* building area and 1,027sq m* land area, was bought following a targeted off-market campaign.

The property was sold by Ray White Industrial Milton Sales and Leasing Executives Lachie Hale and Jaems Balfour.

Mr Hale said Underwood was a highly sought-after area by both industrial and retail users, and he was pleased to deliver a positive off-market result for the vendor.

“We’ve recently sold a number of properties in the area so we had a multitude of people in mind who we thought would be ideal for this site,” he said.

“The asset was bought by a local owner occupier who runs a national business, and they will be the tenants of the property moving forward.”

Mr Balfour said the location just off Logan Road, with its close proximity to motorways and logistical access to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, was a real drawcard.

“This excellent freestander has everything a business could hope for with excellent access, dual driveways and it can be split, if required,” he said.

“The site is fully secure and comes equipped with internal amenities and can be accessed by a roller door on either side of the property.”
