Global laboratory supply company VWR International has leased office space in an industrial precinct of Tingalpa in Brisbane’s east for its new Australian headquarters.
VWR has taken up a tenancy at 1a/60 Enterprise Place, Tingalpa, in a deal negotiated by Sean O’Connor of Ray White Industrial Milton on behalf of property group Goodman.
Sean O’Connor said Goodman had 1000 sqm of vacant office available in its Tingalpa building and VWR were able to lease the entire first level of 534 sqm.
“Previously located nearby in Archimedes Place, Murarrie, VWR began a search for new premises to move their Australian headquarters in Brisbane which they had outgrown,” Mr O’Connor said.
“This immediately became a priority task for all agents in the area who began presenting viable listings to VWR.
“I went to Goodman and asked if they would consider splitting their 1000 sqm office building into two 500 sqm tenancies.
“Once this was approved, VWR were notified and upon inspection they immediately came forward with an offer which was ultimately accepted.”
VWR International, which has its global head office in Pennsylvania in the US, is a leading, global, independent provider of products, services and solutions to laboratory and production facilities. They enable science for their customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnological and industrial healthcare industries.
VWR has taken out a 3 + 3 year lease.
