Ipswich Warehouse Sold for $1.2 Million

A large retail/warehouse in the heart of the Ipswich city fringe precinct has been sold via auction by Ray White Industrial (Milton) for $1.2 million.

The property at 323 Brisbane Street, West Ipswich, was sold to Extreme Indoor Sports Group by Damian McMahon of Ray White Industrial (Milton) and Morrie Marsden of Ray White Commercial Ipswich on behalf of two private investors.

Damian McMahon said the building was strategically positioned on one of the main thoroughfares of Ipswich and the new owners intend to renovate the complex for Extreme Indoor Sports use

“The property was offered for sale at the Ray White Corporate auction at the Riverside Centre in the Brisbane CBD,” he said.

“Our marketing campaign attracted 15 enquiries and three registered bidders to the auction. It didn’t sell under the hammer but was sold within hours of the auction.”

Morrie Marsden said the warehouse is zoned for local business and industry and high density residential and includes four separate allotments and a main building of approximately 2,576 sqm.

“The building features a showroom, office and a separate warehouse and workshop while there is also substantial hardstand area and 18 onsite car parks,” he said

Morrie Marsden said Ipswich was one of the fastest growing regions in Australia and there was plenty of interest in retail and industrial properties in the region.
